Patient FAQs

How do I schedule an appointment?

We schedule appointments at your convenience during available hours. If you have young children in preschool or kindergarten, we schedule their visit in the morning so we can take the time to work with them. Dental appointments are an excused absence at school. With regular dental care, your child will keep school absence to a minimum.

Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient, we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. This allows us sufficient time to notify and schedule another patient who needs our care. We realize unexpected things happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

May I stay with my child during the visit?

We encourage you to stay with your child during the first visit. During future appointments, we suggest you allow our staff to accompany your child through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer relationship with your child this way, gaining their confidence and overcoming apprehension. However, if you choose, you may accompany your child to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, siblings or other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
